Guitar Festival Michael Goldberg, guitar UC Davis Department of Music

Michael Goldberg's classical guitar program includes Spanish pieces by Rodrigo and Turina, works by Narvaez, Ponce, and J.S. Bach’s own transcription of the Suite in E Major for Solo Violin (BWV 1006a). Goldberg is currently playing solo and chamber recitals, and is on the faculty at both UC Davis and UC Berkeley. He has toured throughout the United States as part of the Alma Duo and is also a member of the Left Coast Chamber Ensemble, a group devoted to contemporary music performance. He has also been featured with the Santa Rosa Symphony, Berkeley Symphony, Composers Inc., Empyrean Ensemble, Adorno Ensemble, Diablo Valley Ballet, and many other Bay Area groups.
