Praised by The New York Times for his “ceaseless curiosity,” baritone Thomas Hampson is one of the most respected, innovative and sought-after soloists performing today. The exuberantly talented Jupiter String Quartet has established itself as “classical” music evangelists of the highest order. Together they present a program that includes a new Mark Adamo lyrical song-cycle, Aristotle, a piece that's both a substantial monologue and a structurally rewarding string quartet. Based on Billy Collins's poem by the same name, the work is a richly dramatic work, an intensely personal interpretation on themes of beginnings, middles and ends.
