Considered one of the most important young talents in the world today, Michael Fabiano is a “possessor of [a] rich, honeyed tenor with a thrilling squillo that promises a huge amount in the future” (Opera Brittainia). A Grand Prize winner of the 2007 Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, Fabiano delivers a commanding stage presence and a captivating voice in both recital and opera performances. Fabiano has sung significant roles in major opera houses across the globe, including stand-out performances in Lucrezia Borgia in the role of Gennaro, both for the San Francisco Opera and in the English National Opera’s premiere production, which was broadcast in the first-ever, live 3D simulcast of an opera. Known for both great vocal technique and intense performances, the New York Post hails Fabiano as “a handsome star in the making … a magnetic presence that draws the eye whatever the visual distraction."
