Sacred Steel is a dynamic, house-rocking blend of blues,
gospel, rock and soul that respects faith and funk in equal
measure. Regarded as a modern master of Sacred Steel’s
distinctive voice, the electric steel guitar, Robert Randolph
can make the instrument express everything from the deepest
sadness to a growling, effusive joy. With this concert he pays
homage to his Sacred Steel forebears by presenting Calvin
Cooke, Aubrey Ghent and Chuck and Darick Campbell, all
legendary masters of the lap and pedal steel guitar.
