One of the Mondavi Center’s most anticipated and celebrated annual events, Rising Stars of Opera presents the finest young operatic voices in recital and with the UC Davis Symphony Orchestra under the baton of maestro Christian Baldini. This year the program expands to feature the entire first act of Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata, with singer Sean Panikkar and Sara Gartland, plus a group of San Francisco Opera Adler Fellows in recital with pianist Mark Morash. This special event is provided free to the community through the generosity of our dear Mondavi Center friend, Barbara K. Jackson.
