Mondavi Center School Matinee Program

SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

It’s five years since the Globe resumed touring after a centuries-long gap, and it’s been one of the triumphs of Dominic Dromgoole’s tenure as artistic director.

—The Guardian

Shakespeare’s Globe reinvents Elizabethan touring theatre for the 21st century. Using a stage design inspired by images from the time, the Globe’s travelling players recreate all the fun and excitement of early theatre. Featuring some of Shakespeare’s best known speeches, this pared-down production of Hamlet brilliantly captures the corrupting influence of power; the intensity of young love; and the passion of a wronged man.
