With his highly virtuosic yet unpretentious style, pianist Martin Helmchen continues to make his impression on the international music scene. His capable hands master Schumann’s only completed piano concerto. Also on the program is Dvorák’s ambitious Symphony No. 7, a work which the composer vowed was “capable of moving the world.”
