Emmylou Harris’s contributions to country-rock, the bluegrass revival, folk music and the Americana movement are widely lauded. Rodney Crowell’s songs have been recorded by the top names in American music, making him an icon in multiple genres and decades of music. These two old friends and occasional band mates join together for Old Yellow Moon, an album that comes from a long-standing creative partnership.
