National Book Award-winning author Jonathan Kozol shares his experiences working with children in the inner city for the past 40 years. From his first non-fiction book Death at an Early Age, which chronicled his first year as a teacher in the Boston public schools, to his most recent book, The Shame of the Nation: The Restoration of Apartheid Schooling in America, Kozol has chronicled how poor children have suffered from the inequities in public education.

Jonathan Kozol will also be participating in The Forum@MC, a series of free panel discussions of arts-related issues. For more information, click here.
