Scrap Arts Music is an innovative quintet of out-there percussionists from Vancouver, an “invented instrument” ensemble unlike anything you’ve seen or heard before. This is “Power Percussion” played on futuristic, whimsical instruments like ziggurat drums and plankophones, made from “the shiniest scrap metal you’ll ever see.” Featuring intricate and jaw-dropping choreography, wildly syncopated music, explosive percussion, and stunning physicality, this show promises to be both visually spectacular and musically memorable.
