The San Francisco Symphony and the Mondavi Center renew a very special relationship, one that began at the opening of Jackson Hall in 2002. Under the baton of famed conductor Michael Tilson Thomas, the SFS brings a program of the great French composers. Soloists include French pianist and First Prize winner in the 2006 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, Jean–Frédéric Neuburger, and San Francisco Symphony principal clarinetist, Carey Bell.
