Legendary comedian Steve Martin has proven equally adept as an actor, screenwriter, playwright, and novelist. His very serious—and very successful—foray into songwriting, bluegrass, and banjo should come as little surprise. His first all-music release, The Crow: New Songs for the Five-String Banjo, won the 2010 Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album. For this performance he’s accompanied by the accomplished bluegrass band the Steep Canyon Rangers.
