In a 2008 Washington Post article, with ample supporting data and tongue firmly in cheek, UC Davis Campus Community Book Project author Eric Weiner asked, “Why are Republicans so darn happy?” UC Davis psychology professor Robert Emmons and other faculty join Weiner to consider the question.

Concerning Beer

Moderated by Jeffrey Callison, host of KXJZ’s Insight. A member of Danú joins Charlie Bamforth, UC Davis Anheuser-Busch Endowed Professor of Malting and Brewing Sciences, for a discussion on beer and a beer tasting.

At the conclusion of the discussion, Professor Bamforth will lead the audience through a tasting of four beers. Seating is limited and pre-registration is required. All those attending must be at least 21 years old and show ID at the door.
