Lara Downes: Perspectives (April 22, 2007)

MOZARTIANA continues our celebration of the 250th anniversary of the birth of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart as Mondavi Center resident pianist Lara Downes examines Mozart’s legacy through the generations. The program includes virtuoso arrangements by Chopin and Liszt on themes from Mozart’s “Don Giovanni”, as well as Dave Brubeck’s famous Mozart tribute “Blue Rondo a la Turk”.
