Russian pianist Vassily Primakov has received audience acclaim and been hailed by the press for his performances throughout the United States. Born in Moscow in 1979, Primakov entered Moscow’s Central Special Music School at the age of eleven, studying with Vera Gornostayeva. He entered the American music scene in 1997, at the age of 17, as a student of Jerome Lowenthal at the Juilliard School. He received his Bachelor’s degree in 2002 and his Master’s degree in 2004 from Juilliard. Primakov’s first CD, an all-Chopin recording, is available on Tavros Records.
