Russian Seasons
A tribute to the Ballets Russes of Serge Diaghilev, featuring three pieces: “Chopiniana,” music by Frederic Chopin and choreography by the legendary Mikhail Fokine; “Scheherazade,” music by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov and choreography by Petukhov; and “Bolero,” Maurice Ravel’s famous score and Petukhov’s choreography.

Founded a quarter century ago in the birthplace of classical Russian ballet, St. Petersburg Ballet Theatre is one of the most distinguished companies in Russia. Known for its matchless precision, sophistication, and elegance as well as technical excellence, the company will perform two full evenings of stunningly beautiful works.
