Moderator:
Scott Syphax, Chief Executive Officer of The Nehemiah Companies; Host and Co-Executive Producer of Studio Sacramento, on PBS affiliate KVIE

In New York Times bestseller The Divide: American Injustice in the Age of the Wealth Gap, Matt Taibbi takes readers on a galvanizing journey through both sides of our new system of justice—the untouchably wealthy and the criminalized poor. In this Campus Community Book Project event, Taibbi will paint an alarming portrait of contemporary American life—where our basic rights are now determined by our wealth or poverty—and provide a way forward against this urgent crisis.
