The Beatles 1968 White Album "Live in Concert"

Saturday, January 18, 2020 - 7:00pm

Featuring a 40-piece orchestra of top area players, along with popular local singers, musicians, celebrities and George Holden's Psychedelic Liquid Lights Live Cinema Show, The Beatles 1968 White Album will be presented live in its entirety.

The Beatles released The White Album in 1968 but never played any of the songs live. By the time the album came out, the band had retired from live performances. Aside from a spontaneous rooftop performance at their recording studio in London while recording the album Let It Be, Beatles fans never got to hear them play live again.

A chance to witness one of the greatest records in The Beatles' history, this event is the major annual fundraiser supporting Sacramento Preparatory Music Academy's (SPMA) Guitar Project and the iHeartMusic.org Scholarship Fund which bring music education and guitar programs to underserved schools.

SPMA will be joined onstage by professional local musicians from the Sacramento Philharmonic & Opera as well as music educators from Sacramento State University and other regional colleges.
