Interested In Performing?

Must be original content only - no covers or samples of copyrighted music

We're collecting pre-recorded videos to show live at the Virtual Open Mic night. All types of performers are welcome: music, poetry, spoken word, dance, comedy, storytelling or any other talent you would like to display. Share your artistry with the community!

Submissions can be up to 5 minutes long. No swearing please. Everyone who submits will be entered to win a pair of tickets to a Mondavi Center show of their choice later this season!

Founded in 2009 at UC Davis, Sacramento Area Youth Speaks strives to change the world through education and empowerment. Building on a foundation of critical literacy and spoken word performance poetry, SAYS breaks the chains of underachievement by elevating the voices of young people and creating spaces for students to become authors of their own lives and agents of change.
