Founded by students at the famed Juilliard School during the early 2000s, this Grammy winning quartet is acclaimed for its versatility.
Their catalog includes works that celebrate the music of the Renaissance period as well as collaborations with modern-day stars. The quartet’s Mondavi Center program includes the contemplative Nocturnes of both Poulenc and Chopin, one of Bartók’s greatest masterpieces, “The Dream” from Haydn, “Father of the String Quartet,” and an exploration of innocence during the Vietnam War by David Lang.
