Celebrating its 75th anniversary, Amalia Hernández's Ballet Folklórico de México has positioned itself as the most emblematic folkloric dance ensemble in Mexico and around the world. 

Founded in 1952, Ballet Folklórico brings together the music, dance and costume of Mexican folklore from pre-Colombian civilizations through the modern era. With its permanent home at the Palacio de Bellas Artes, one of Mexico City’s most historic venues, the company has also reached more than 45 million spectators worldwide, performing in more than 80 countries.
