The Curtis Institute of Music is home to some of the finest young musicians in the world who, each year, come together to create one of the world's great orchestras. Add internationally renowned conductor Osmo Vänskä and Grammy-winning soloist Yefim Bronfman featured on Bartók’s fierce Piano Concerto No. 2 and the stage is set for music making of the highest order. This immersive experience is completed with a new work from Curtis faculty member Dai Wei and Rimsky-Korsakov’s masterful Scheherazade suite.

Grammy Award winning duo Rodrigo y Gabriela grew up on an eclectic mix of classic rock, heavy metal and flamenco, a rare alchemy of influences that still informs their work today.

UC Davis's own Jazz "Big Bands" present songs from the Great American Songbook as well as a few contemporary works and sometimes feature student vocalists too. Tunes by Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, and many others are often presented.

Featuring student and community singers from the UC Davis community directed by UC Davis lecturer in music Erik Peregrine, these three choruses present diverse choral repertoire representative of our choral traditions of the past, our present, as well as new and developing traditions. Choruses of UC Davis are comprised of the University Chorus, Chamber Singers, and Early Vocal Ensemble.
